The conference uses a rigorous 5-step peer review process to ensure the integrity, originality, and scholarly value of all accepted papers. Below is a detailed explanation of each step:
Upon submission, each paper undergoes a preliminary check for compliance with ethical and quality standards. This includes two key evaluations:
Eligible papers are anonymized and then assigned to two experts in the relevant field for a double-blind review — neither authors nor reviewers are aware of each other's identities. The review is conducted through the CMT (Conference Management Toolkit) platform, which streamlines assignment and communication. Reviewers provide comprehensive comments, criticisms, and suggestions focusing on the originality, methodology, significance, and clarity of the research. Their remarks are then systematically compiled and shared with the authors for revision.
Authors receive the consolidated feedback and are required to address all reviewer comments. This may involve clarifying arguments, adding missing details, correcting errors, or improving overall presentation. Once changes are made, the revised manuscript, along with a detailed response to reviewers addressing each point, is resubmitted via the CMT platform.
The revised paper is returned to the original reviewers for a second evaluation. Reviewers assess whether their prior concerns and suggestions have been satisfactorily addressed. Based on the improvements and additional clarifications, reviewers provide a final recommendation on the suitability of the paper for publication or further revision.
The final acceptance or rejection is determined by the Editorial Team. The editorial decision is based on the recommendations of the reviewers and responsiveness of the authors to the feedback. The Editorial Team ensures all standards and criteria are met before accepting a paper for presentation and publication in the conference proceedings.
This thorough five-step process is designed to maintain academic rigor, enhance manuscript quality, and ensure adherence to ethical publishing practices in line with international standards.
Our conference upholds the highest standards of publication ethics in alignment with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and Taylor & Francis policies. We ensure originality, transparency, and accountability throughout the peer review and publication process. All submissions undergo rigorous plagiarism and AI-generated content checks, with strict thresholds for acceptance. The double-blind peer review process ensures impartial and thorough assessment by independent experts. We prohibit any form of misconduct including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and authorship malpractice. Any ethical concerns or breaches will be investigated promptly, maintaining the integrity and quality of scholarly publication.
Authors are expected to present original research that has not been published elsewhere. All data, methods, and findings should be accurately reported, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation. Authors must properly acknowledge the contributions of others, including citing relevant work. Plagiarism, in any form, is unacceptable and will result in the rejection of the submitted paper. Furthermore, authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their work. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple conferences or journals simultaneously is considered unethical and is strictly prohibited.
Reviewers play a critical role in the peer review process, and they are expected to provide fair, objective, and constructive feedback on submitted manuscripts. They should evaluate the work based on its intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they review and must not use information obtained during the peer review process for personal gain. Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed to the editorial board, and reviewers should recuse themselves from the review process if they feel unable to provide an impartial evaluation.
The editorial board is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the publication process. They should make decisions on submissions based solely on the academic merit of the work and its relevance to the conference’s scope. The editorial board must ensure that the review process is conducted fairly, confidentially, and without bias. They are also responsible for identifying and addressing any ethical issues that may arise, such as suspected plagiarism, data manipulation, or conflicts of interest. The board is committed to maintaining transparency throughout the publication process and will take appropriate action in cases of malpractice, which may include rejecting manuscripts, issuing retractions, or reporting misconduct to the authors’ institutions.
ICAIMIS 2026 takes ethical misconduct seriously and has established procedures to address such issues. If unethical behaviour is suspected, the editorial board will investigate the matter thoroughly. If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate actions will be taken, which may include the rejection of the manuscript, notifying the authors’ institutions, and banning the authors from future participation in the conference. All investigations and actions will be conducted in accordance with the principles of fairness, confidentiality, and transparency.
To maintain the integrity of the conference proceedings, all submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using specialized detection software. Manuscripts found to have a similarity index exceeding 10% will be scrutinized, and authors may be asked to revise or provide explanations for the overlaps. Instances of confirmed plagiarism will lead to the rejection of the manuscript and may result in further disciplinary actions.
To celebrate academic excellence and inspire impactful research, ICAIMIS-2026 proudly announces the Best Research Paper Award for each technical session.
