About Noida International University

Noida International University was established in the year 2010 by an Act (Act No. 27 of 2010) of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature. The University is approved under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of UGC Act 1956. The University is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A+ grade, a score of 3.44 in cycle 1 and is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University has received prestigious recognition by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the scheme on Recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research Organizations (SIROs), 1988 as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) in 2022. Noida International University has been recognised as a Host Institute by MSME, Govt of India. The University has the best international network with eminent institutions across the globe. The University through its 12 schools is offering various multi-disciplinary programmes in varied streams of Engineering, Sciences, Management, Law, Medical and Social Sciences. About School of Nursing

The School of Nursing, Noida International University (NIU), is a premier institution committed to excellence in nursing education, clinical training, and professional development. Established in 2011 under the trusteeship of the Maruti Educational Trust, the School of Nursing is affiliated with the U.P. State Medical Faculty and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). It stands as one of the leading nursing institutions in the Delhi–NCR region. The school offers diploma, undergraduate, and doctoral programmes in nursing, structured to meet national and global healthcare standards. Emphasis is placed on academic excellence, ethical practice, evidence-based learning, and skill-oriented training to prepare students as competent and compassionate nursing professionals.

A major strength of the School of Nursing is its comprehensive clinical exposure. Students receive hands-on training at the 800-bedded multi-specialty Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS) Hospital, the parent teaching hospital of Noida International University. In addition, students are posted at reputed affiliated hospitals including Fortis Hospital, Yatharth Hospital, Felix Hospital, VIMHANS Hospital, Rainbow Hospital, PSRI Hospital, Venkateshwara Hospital, Max Hospital, and PGI Child Specialty Hospital. Community health experience is provided through Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), and adopted villages under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.

The school is supported by well-planned infrastructure comprising spacious classrooms, a modern library, advanced nursing practice laboratories, AI-based simulation laboratories, computer labs, and audio-visual learning facilities. Innovative teaching strategies such as virtual reality (VR)–based training, simulation learning, and digital education through the E-Gyankosh platform enhance students’ clinical competence and critical thinking abilities. To ensure strong career readiness, the School of Nursing offers paid internships under the National Apprenticeship Scheme (Government of India), providing structured clinical training along with financial support. About IQAC

Noida International University, an Autonomous body recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC, Ministry of Education Govt. of India, was established in the year 2010. In pursuance of the National Action Plan of the NAAC for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and quality up gradation IQAC of the University has been setup in the year 2018. University aims to ensure that the teaching practices are at a high standard and continually improving. The University aims at enhancing and ensuring the quality of education at the University, in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes, covering the curriculum, teaching-learning, evaluation, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organization, governance, financial well-being, and student services. The overall quality measuring components focused on enhancement are depicted in the diagram.

IQAC is involved in the systematic implementation of quality enhancement procedures/criteria to attain improved levels of international compatibility and competitiveness at the institutional and program level.
