BIOVISION 2047 – BIORISE is organised by the School of Sciences at Noida International University, a NAAC A+ accredited university and a DSIR-recognised Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.
Noida International University was established in the year 2010 by an Act (Act No. 27 of 2010) of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature. The University is approved under Section 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act 1956 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. The University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A+ grade and a score of 3.44 — the highest among private universities in Cycle 1 — and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The University has received prestigious recognition from the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the scheme on Recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research Organizations, as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) in 2022 and 2025.
NIU is also home to the Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS), a 900-bedded hospital and medical college dedicated to excellence in medical education and healthcare. NIIMS follows a pragmatic, hands-on approach to learning, ensuring students gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of medicine.
Established in 2012, the School of Sciences is a dynamic Centre of excellence dedicated to quality education, cutting-edge research and innovation. The school offers 10 undergraduate, 8 postgraduate and 7 doctoral programmes across Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. Supported by state-of-the-art laboratories in all disciplines, the school provides an enriching learning environment that combines strong academic foundations with hands-on training, interdisciplinary learning and research-driven education.
Research and innovation form the cornerstone of the school's academic culture, with faculty and students contributing more than 500 publications in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, 25+ patents, and 40+ books and book chapters. Through industry collaborations, internships, outreach programmes and partnerships with leading research organizations, students gain valuable practical exposure while developing scientific temper, leadership qualities and social responsibility.
