He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at SLA, NIU and holds a distinguished academic background, having earned his Ph.D. degree in Sociology from University of Hyderabad and M.Phil. in Sociology from Pondicherry Central University.

His research interests are broad and encompass various facets of sociology, particularly focusing on areas such as Classical Sociological Theory, Sociology of Development, Social Anthropology, Rural Sociology, Sociology of Health, Urban Sociology, etc. His scholarly output includes numerous publications in internationally recognized journals indexed in ABDC, SCOPUS, and SCI, highlighting his commitment to advancing knowledge in Sociology. His credentials include more than 45 papers in national and international publications of repute, several presentations of research papers in national conferences and seminars. His academic journey is marked by significant achievements, accolades and recognized with Prof. M.N. Srinivas Award by the Indian Sociological Society, New Delhi for his contribution in Sociology. He also received the Institute of Eminence Incentive Award from University of Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad for his paper “Locating the Atrocities against Dalits: An Analytical Approach” (Publisher: Contemporary Voice of Dalits, Sage Publications) in December, 2021. In addition to his scholarly work, he is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students, fostering a rich and engaging learning environment.
