The Department of Fine Arts offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes focused on studio practice, visual exploration, and critical understanding of art. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a four-year programme with specializations in Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, and Animation & VFX. The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) offers advanced study in Painting and Applied Arts.

The curriculum integrates drawing, material studies, art history, contemporary theory, and professional practice. Students participate in studio critiques, exhibitions, workshops, and interdisciplinary projects. Graduates pursue careers as professional artists, designers, animators, educators, curators, and creative practitioners.

NEW PROGRAMME: BFA ANIMATION & VFX

BFA Animation & VFX
The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Animation & VFX is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to develop strong foundations in animation, visual effects, and digital storytelling. The programme emphasizes drawing fundamentals, motion principles, visual design and effects, and cinematic aesthetics alongside industry-standard software training.

Students are trained in 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, compositing, storyboarding, character design, and basic game and film pipelines. The curriculum balances artistic development with technical execution, preparing graduates for roles in animation studios, VFX production houses, gaming companies, and digital media industries.

The Department of Design offers undergraduate programmes in Interior Design and Game Art / Film Art (Concept Art), focusing on design thinking, visual development, and professional studio practice. NEW PROGRAMME: B.DES – GAME ART / FILM ART

The B.Des in Game Art / Film Art focuses on concept art and visual development for games, animation, and films, covering character design, environment design, props, mood creation, and narrative visualization.

Across programmes, students engage with design history, digital tools, industry workflows, and project-based learning. Graduates are prepared for professional practice in design studios, entertainment and media industries, interdisciplinary creative fields, and advanced academic pursuits.

Garima Verma (3rd Year- Applied Art, School of Fine Arts) has received an award  in the International Virtual Photography Competition on the occasion of World Photography Day- 19th August 2021. Her three photographs got selected in the competition; one of the photographs has received first position in the category of Grassroots innovations.

He secured third prize in the painting competition on the theme “Circular economy for Productivity & sustainability” on the occasion of National Productivity Week Celebration organized by national productivity Council, New Delhi.

He has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for his winning painting of Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen in Sweden India Nobel Memorial Painting Contest organized by Embassy of Sweden.

Kailash Kumar Shah

Vidushi is a prolific Artist with a strong interest in Graphic and Creative Illustrations. She has worked as a personality development mentor for aspiring MBA students.

She is a lead illustrator at a Small town Bandits, a Creative Consultancy in India from last 2 years.
