The Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering & Technology, organized an industrial visit to Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad on 17th March 2026 for B.Tech Biotechnology students.
The visit was led by Dr. Ved Vrat Verma (Head, Department of Biotechnology) along with Dr. Ankita Saxena and Dr. Debanjana Prasad. The key agenda of the visit was to provide practical exposure to research, testing methodologies, and real-world applications in vaccine development and various bioassays for drug testing.
During the visit, students explored various divisions including Biomarker Assay Discovery, Bioassay laboratory, vaccine development laboratory and Indian Biological Data Centre. They were introduced to advanced laboratory equipments and facilities .
The interaction with THSTI experts helped students understand industry practices, quality control measures, and innovations shaping modern medicine science and development.
