DESCRIPTION.
“Let us remember one book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world,”
Noida International University, School of Nursing, under the flagship of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan organized an awareness program on “World literary Day” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dean/Principal School of Nursing and Ms. Shikha Gupta (Assistant Professor, SON) on 14th of September, 2022.
The program was organized in the adopted village of Luksar (Gr. Noida) under the theme “Transforming Literacy Learning Spaces”. The aim of the campaign was to aware and educate the students and the public about the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society. The Students of GNM 1st Year and ANM 1st year took active initiation to promote the dream of 100% literate nation with constant efforts through display of placards, drama presentations etc.
The work of NIU team was appreciated by the school and was encouraged to conduct such camps in future for the comprehensive development of each student
