Panel discussion on “The Rise of Women is Not About the Fall of Men: Embrace Equality” Organised by School of Liberal Arts, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Noida International University on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 27th March,2023, Monday at 11:30 a.m. onwards through Online Mode (Google Meet). The panel discussion is a conversation focused on the importance of gender equality and the empowerment of women.The main objectives of the panel discussion was
- To raise awareness about the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment
- To address the myths and misconceptions surrounding gender equality and its impact on men
Ms. Manju Kundu began the session with a welcome note to all eminent speakers including Dr. Neelam Tyagi, Dr. Veerendra Kumar Mishra (IPS) and Advocate Veena Ralli Ji. The speaker explained importance of gender equality and focused on the keywords such as women empowerment, equality, and equal rights for all.One the important aspect of the panel discussion was Embrace Equality that has been well explained by the Dr. Aparna Sharma. The workshop was attended by 97 participants, which includes 17 faculties, directors, guest speakers and 80 students from department. Few students came up with the certain queries that was well addressed by the speakers
