DESCRIPTION.
Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. Under the theme “Step up for breastfeeding: Educate and Support” Noida International University, School of Nursing organized an awareness program on “BREASTFEEDING” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dean/Principal School of Nursing and Ms. Shikha Gupta (Assistant Professor, SON) along with the students of GNM 3rd year and ANM 2nd year, on 06/08/2022. The campaign was carried out in the adopted village Khali Bhav Mozampur village under Unnat Bharat. Abhiyan.
Breast milk is uniquely suited to the human infant’s nutritional needs and is a live substance with unparalleled immunological and anti-inflammatory properties that protect against a host of illnesses and diseases for both mothers and children
The specific objectives are as follows-· People about their role in strengthening the warm chain of support for breastfeeding.Breast feeding as part of good nutrition, food security and reduction of inequalities
