The UNE-ENTERNOVA 2.0 International Conference 2025, organized by the School of Nursing at Noida International University (NIU), served as a significant platform for healthcare professionals, academicians, and students to engage in discussions on the evolving landscape of nursing and healthcare. The conference featured a series of sessions led by distinguished speakers, each contributing valuable insights into their respective fields.
Welcome and Opening Remarks:
The Chief Patron for the programme was Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Chairman, NIU. He is an educationist and an academic leader with the Vision, belief, value, understanding and work legacy of quality Education.
The Patron for the programme was Dr. Vikram Singh, Hon’ble Chancellor, NIU. He is an academic leader with the vision, conviction, appreciation, knowledge, and work legacy of high-quality education.
The Patron for the Program was Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, NIU. She is a leader in higher education with the vision, conviction, appreciation, knowledge, and work ethic of great education.
The Co Patron for the Program was Prof. (Dr.) Tanya singh, Hon’ble Dean academics, NIU. She is a leader in higher education with the vision, conviction, appreciation, knowledge, and work ethic of great education.

The conference commenced with a warm welcome by Masters of Ceremony Ms. Diksha and Ms. Ayushi, who greeted the distinguished speakers and delegates, setting a collaborative tone for the day. Following this, the Dean of the School of Nursing delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the significance of the conference in fostering knowledge exchange and professional growth within the nursing community.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the designated Chief Guest, Shri Yogendra Singh from the Education Ministry of Uttar Pradesh, was unable to attend in person. However, he conveyed his best wishes and insights through a video message, in which he underscored the critical role of nursing professionals in the evolving healthcare landscape and commended the university’s efforts in organizing such a pivotal event.
the inaugural ceremony proceeded with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and addresses by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Uma Bhardwaj, who reiterated the university’s commitment to excellence in nursing education. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Multi-Language Centre by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj. This centre aims to enhance linguistic skills among students and faculty, promoting better communication in the diverse field of healthcare. The inaugural ceremony also included a traditional lamp lighting and a cultural performance by the Centre of Language Studies, showcasing regional heritage.

- Participants earned 1 credit point from the U.P. State Nurses & Midwives Council.
- Discussions also focused on global healthcare collaborations, emerging technologies, and international research trends.
The conference proceeded with insightful sessions from both national and international speakers. Dr. (Prof.) Neetu Bhadouria, Dean of Nursing at the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), discussed emerging trends in nursing education.
Dr. Sukrit Kumar from Rainbow Children’s Hospitals shared expertise on paediatric nursing challenges. International speaker Dr. Gagan Deep Kaur Dhillon from Canada provided a global perspective on nursing practices, while Dr. Prashant Vashistha, Regional Director Delhi NCR at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, elaborated on strategies to enhance paediatric care in urban settings. Dr. N Siva, Senior Research Fellow at ICMR, Bengaluru, presented recent developments in public health research and their implications for nursing.
Dr. (Prof.) Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Dean of Nursing at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, addressed the integration of technology in nursing education. A skill-based session, “Nursing Champ,” was conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma, focusing on enhancing clinical skills among nursing professionals. Further discussions included leadership and management in nursing by Dr. Sabiha Fazalbhoy from Doha, Qatar; community health nursing and outreach programs by Prof. Ramandeep Kaur Dhillon of Ajit Nursing Institute, Punjab; and advancements in nursing research methodologies by Dr. (Prof.) Pravin Prakash, Principal of Metro Institute of Nursing.
