The theme of WAAW 2022 is “Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance together”.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global health and development threat. It requires urgent multisectoral action in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To celebrate WAAW 2022, BMLT students were taken to the community (i.e.,Bhaipur Brahmanan, UP) to aware people about Antimicrobial resistance.
There, they assembled community people by the help of Health worker.
Then, they interacted with community people and awared them about Antimicrobial resistance and given a brief description about AMR. Also adviced them to take proper medication as per instruction.
Then, Nukkad natak related to topic i.e., Antimicrobial awareness was played by the BMLT 2nd and 3rd students for awareness in the community, Bhaipur Brahmanan. For documentation photos are attached herewith.
