Dr. Naima Umar is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography in the School of Liberal Arts, Noida International University. She has a decade of extensive expertise in the fields of Teaching and Research. She has a Ph.D degree in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University and has finished her Post Doctoral research at ICSSR, New Delhi. She has several articles and chapters in highly regarded Scopus and Peer Reviewed publications, in addition to two books. She was awarded by the "Higher Education Excellence Award" at the GRCF National University of Singapore International Conference. She holds position of director at ERTHWO Foundation, chairperson at ICCC International Collaboration Committee Council, president at IDYM Foundation (Igniting Dreams of Young Minds) in India, and Country Ambassador in GLT, Abuja, Nigeria.
