The Painting and Applied students of School of Fine Arts (SFA) visited India Art fair 2022 NSIC Grounds, Okhla, New Delhi on April 29, 2022. Students of BFA, MFA (Fine Arts) need to be connected with such types of events like the contemporary art exhibition, India, International level art galleries, artists’ interaction as it helps them to be more progressive and to incorporate new thoughts and materials in their art practices. Students can understand extensively through such face to face interaction with artists, curators, galleries and the art market. This visit helped them to increase their sense of new materials, new forms of ISM that are being used by different artists in their art practice at this time. SFA students also got the opportunity to see the world-famous artists’ works like MF Hussain, FN Souza, AR Chughtai, Atul Dodia and NS Harsha. The interaction with artists helps them to understand their art better; it will definitely make an impression on young minds. The aim and objective of the Art Fair visit was also for good employability and securing excellent career opportunities in the field of creative practices for the Fine Arts students. 21 students of BFA, MFA (Painting, Applied Art) and three faculty members participated to visit the India Art Fair.
