Report on MUN 2.0 (2024–2025)
The School of Liberal Arts, Department of International Relations, successfully organized MUN 2.0 (2024–2025), an intra-university Model United Nations conference that celebrated diplomacy, debate, and critical inquiry.
Conducted over two days, the event saw an overwhelming participation of 123 students from across departments, reflecting the strong enthusiasm of the student community in addressing global and national issues. The program was held under the esteemed guidance of our Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Aparna Sharma, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, and under the mentorship of our Professors and Convenors, Dr. Manju Kundu and Dr. Mohammad Monish. External judges were also invited to provide fair evaluation and valuable feedback.
The conference featured two committees:
– United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), chaired by Simran, which deliberated on “Cyber Security in the 5th Generation of Warfare.”
– All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), chaired by Arushi Antal, which debated on “Uniform Civil Code.”

MUN 2.0 emerged as an intellectually vibrant platform for dialogue, diplomacy, and leadership, enriching students’ perspectives while fostering a spirit of collaboration and global understanding within the university.
