Report on 3-days Hand on Skill Workshop

Support: Dr. Deepak Sethi, Dean of the School of Nursing, provided invaluable guidance and support for the successful execution of the event.

Participants: The workshop was designed for multiple batches, including:

  • GNM 1st Year
  • GNM 2nd Year
  • BSc Nursing 1st Semester
  • BSc Nursing 3rd Semester
  • BSc Nursing 5th Semester

Introduction:

A three-day Critical Care Nursing Simulation Workshop was successfully organized from 12th to 14th November. This workshop aimed to enhance the practical knowledge and critical care skills of nursing students through hands-on simulation exercises, guided by experienced nursing educators and field experts.

Objectives of the Workshop

  1. To familiarize students with the essentials of critical care nursing.
  2. To develop skills in managing critical situations through simulated clinical scenarios.
  3. To foster teamwork, decision-making, and critical thinking among nursing students.

  3. Neonate Intubation
  4. Adult Intubation
  5. Catheterization male & female
  6. Bio-medical Equipment
  7. Cardiac Monitor
  8. Oxygen concentrator
  9. Glucometer
  10. NRM Mask
  11. Nebulization
  12. Infusion Pump
  13. Bi-PAP & C-PAP
  14. Suction Machine

Workshop Highlights
