Introduction

The Immunization Awareness Program was organized in Dankaur, Greater Noida, with the aim of educating the local community about the importance of immunization. This initiative was in line with the efforts to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases and promote community health.

Objective

• To raise awareness about the significance of immunization in preventing diseases.
• To educate participants about the immunization schedule for children and adults.
• To address myths and misconceptions regarding vaccines.
• To encourage timely immunization for all age groups.

Activities Conducted

1. Health Education Session:
   The program was led by Ms. Vinita, who delivered a detailed session on immunization. The key topics covered included:
• The purpose of vaccines and how they work.
• The National Immunization Schedule in India.
• Common myths and misconceptions about vaccines and their clarification.
• Importance of complete and timely immunization, especially for children under five years of age.
2. Interactive Discussion:
