DESCRIPTION.
Noida International University, School of Nursing organized a program on “National HIV/ AIDS and Aging awareness day” under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Dinesh Kumar, Dean SON and Ms. Shika Gupta, Asst. Prof. SON.
The program was conducted in the adopted village of Luksar ( G.Noida) under the flagship of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 16th September, 2022.
The aim of the program was to bring attention to the growing number of people living long and full lives with HIV and about their health and social needs and also to educate the general mass about the prevention and treatment of HIV. The Students of GNM 1st year and ANM 1st year actively took part in the activities such as role play/nukkad and by participating in the rallies throughout the community area of the village.
The overall motive of the program was to raise awareness about health life and to spread the informative messages to all the risk group of young people in the community.
