Our enthusiastic SJMC students embarked on an enlightening journey to Sudarshan News Channel, accompanied by esteemed faculty members Mr. Adarsh Kumar, Mr. Shambhu Kumar and Dr. Amber Pandey.
This industry visit provided our students with invaluable insights into the dynamic world of broadcast journalism. Mr. Suresh Chavhanke, the owner and chief editor of Sudarshan News Channel, graciously welcomed our students, interacted with them, and addressed all their queries. The students explored various departments like the assignment desk, PCR, MCR, graphics room, and editing room, and had insightful discussions with producers and anchors. They delved into various facets of news production, live broadcasting and technical operations, witnessing firsthand the inner workings of a renowned news channel.
