Rangoli and Craft making Competition

The “Rangrez – The Art of Color” event celebrated Diwali 2024 with vibrant competitions in rangoli and craft-making from waste materials, organized by the School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS). A total of 157 participants across 22 rangoli teams and seven craft-making groups represented various allied health departments. Their creative works celebrated both the spirit of Diwali and the importance of sustainability through upcycled materials. The event showcased unique designs and craftsmanship, symbolizing the festival’s brightness and environmental consciousness. Esteemed judges, including Dr. Prathistha, Head of Anatomy; Dr. Supriya, Head of SOAHS; and Dr. Mani Nandini Sharma, Head of the School of Fine Arts, evaluated the participants’ efforts, appreciating their artistic innovation and resourcefulness. The event not only provided a platform for students to display their talent but also fostered community and interdisciplinary collaboration, making it a memorable and impactful celebration for all.
