About Malaviya Mission Scheme

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has sought strengthening of the synergy and integration between HRDCs and PMMMNMTT centres in order to meet the objective of NEP 2020, keeping in view the optimal utilization of infrastructure, human and financial resources. The scheme has been designed to implement some of the recommendations and aims of the policy, which suggests key changes to the current higher education system to revamp and reenergize it and thereby deliver high-quality higher education, with equity and inclusion.

This new phase of the scheme also aims to implement the recommendations of NEP viz. to improve the quality of teaching at all levels and in all domains; to focus on equity and inclusion in higher education and promote online and digital education; ensure equitable use of technology; promote Indian language and culture; develop basic infrastructure facilities; create awareness about gender sensitization; include vocational education in the curriculum; develop leadership and management skills; create a pool of mentors and pedagogic experts; and promote research and multidisciplinary education.

About Hansraj College

Hansraj College is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi and has been ranked among the top five colleges for Science, Arts and Commerce several times over the last decade. The faculty and students of the college have contributed immensely to academics, sports and cultural activities. About Noida International University

Noida International University was established in 2010 by an Act (Act No. 27 of 2010) of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature. Live sessions were conducted over 24 days, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, via Zoom.

Inaugural Day Report

On June 4, 2026, the four-week Faculty Induction Programme began with a formal inaugural ceremony. The convener of the event on behalf of Noida International University, Prof. (Dr.) Aparna Sharma, welcomed all participants and expressed her enthusiasm for an effective, interactive and productive four-week session.

The session was then handed over to the coordinators, Dr. Sangeeta Mishra and Dr. Amrita Singh, who continued with the remaining formalities. The induction programme officially began with the announcement of the rules and instructions for all participants.

Valedictory Day Report

On July 3, 2026, the valedictory session marked the successful completion of the one-month Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme. The presence of Prof. (Dr.) Dhananjay Singh, Dean of the University School of Education, added significance to the occasion. Prof. Dhananjay spoke about the role of academicians in the journey toward Viksit Bharat.

The session opened with a welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) Aparna Sharma, Dean, School of Liberal Arts, Noida International University, who also delivered the closing vote of thanks — making special mention of the support and encouragement extended by Chairman Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chancellor Dr. Vikram Singh, and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, whose consistent support made such events possible at NIU.
