Awareness That Reached the Heart

The Department of Cardiac Care Technology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Noida International University, organized World Heart Day 2026 on 29 September 2026 at LT-02 under the theme “Don’t Miss a Beat – See the Signs, Protect Your Heart, Demand Action.”

The programme included an interactive awareness session with Dr. Syed Zafrul Hasan, Senior Clinical Consultant Cardiologist, focusing on cardiovascular health, prevention, early recognition of cardiac warning signs, and timely medical care. The session gave students an opportunity to interact with the expert and enhance their understanding of preventive cardiac care.

The event also featured an E-Poster Presentation Competition and a Heart Health Quiz Competition, encouraging students to demonstrate their knowledge and creativity. A cardiac-health awareness skit highlighted the importance of recognizing warning signs, adopting healthy habits, and seeking timely medical assistance. The programme concluded with a cultural programme, providing students an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Overall, the event promoted cardiovascular awareness, active student participation, health education, and the importance of protecting heart health.
