INTERNATIONAL FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (FDP)

NOIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

SCHOOL OF NURSING,

FDP REPORT

INTERNATIONAL FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (FDP)

Leadership and Professional Excellence have become paramount important in the era of disruptive transformation. Academic front is no exception to this. Effective leaders have the courage and provide the vision required to foster the pursuit of excellence; they inspire and motivate, counsel and coach colleagues, and draw out the best in those they lead. Our best leaders share wisdom and expertise in leading and give freely of their knowledge and strategic thinking.

The report also provides a compelling case for development of the global nursing workforce, investment in nursing education, jobs, and leadership during this covid-19. the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted that we do have some gaps in leadership and that there are areas of leadership that could be strengthened to better serve the world at large.

This FDP at SON-NIU is a small but very firm step towards achieving this goal. We at NIU, Greater Noida, have enough infrastructural and leadership support to create an environment conducive to guide and support disruptive transformation in times of the covid pandemic. Our university relies on the in-house expertise of a diverse group of creative and innovative leaders to inspire students and other stakeholders to reflect, experiment, and evolve their professional practice.
