Must follow the ideal norms in the field of research publication: Prof. Gaur
Greater Noida, 6th July 2022: Prof. Ramesh Chandra Gaur, Director of National School of Drama, today stated that the sense of ethics is crucial in the field of publishing during a special lecture he delivered at Noida International University on “Ethics in the field of research understanding and publication.” He further explained the nuances of research to the research scholars, who gathered in large numbers to attend the session. Dr Gaur highlighted the need for caution when conducting research for publishing a book.
Dr. Vikram Singh, Chancellor of Noida International University and former DGP of UP, stated that shortcuts do not work in the field of research and researchers must work hard. He advised students to read as much as they can before writing anything.
Prof. Ramesh Chandra Gaur and Prof. Uma Bhardwaj, Vice-Chancellor of Noida International University then spoke about the collaboration between the two institutions and how they can jointly introduce some courses having a blend of Stage understanding, Dialogue writing, Plot construction, Intricacies of performance and Role of Non-verbal communication, intonations, etc. Many other aspects can be explored with reference to the impact of audio- visual aids.
“It is a matter of great pride that eminent professor like Dr Gaur visited our university and delivered lecture on such an important subject. He shared with us the most crucial details about research. NIU is also planning to offer acting classes to students in association with NSD,” said Prof Bhardwaj.
Prof. (Dr) Parsanjeet Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Noida International University stated that students, who are will to make their career in the field of Acting, will get benefitted from courses NIU is planning to offer in collaboration with NSD.
The session ended with a felicitation ceremony of Prof. Gaur, who promised to take part in numerous scholarly initiatives in the future.
