Africa Day Celebration on Campus

Africa day is celebrated every year on 25th May all over the world in recognition of the vision and milestone achieved towards “An Integrated, Prosperous and Peaceful Africa”, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in the global arena”. On this date the Organisation of African Unity was formed. The day celebrates African unity and the wonderful and rich culture that this continent provides. It is a day to acknowledge the progress made by the continent. This year the organisation will be celebrating its 60th anniversary.
In lieu of the same, NIU cultural committee is celebrating Africa Day on 29th May, 2023 to showcase the talent of the African students of our University and the theme for this year is  African Culture Overseas“.
