Biography

Dr. Abhijeet Panigrahy is an Assistant Professor at Noida International University. He brings a multidimensional perspective to his academic endeavors, combining a foundational background in mechanical engineering with advanced expertise in human resources and marketing management. He earned his Ph.D. in Tourism and Marketing Management from VIT Business School, Vellore Institute of Technology.

Dr. Panigrahy has a strong academic and administrative track record, having previously served as an Assistant Professor Junior at VIT Business School and an Assistant Professor at the Bhubaneshwar Institute of Management. In these roles, he successfully managed BBA and MBA coursework, guided student capstone projects, and actively handled NAAC and AACSB accreditation tasks. Prior to transitioning into academia, he gained valuable industry experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer at GAIL India Limited.

Dr. Panigrahy's research primarily focuses on the intersection of digital technology, consumer behavior, and tourism. He specializes in applying advanced analytical frameworks, including hybrid SEM-ANN-NCA approaches, to understand how ethical attitudes, altruism, and subjective norms influence tourist behaviors on social media platforms. He is highly proficient in quantitative analysis using tools such as Excel, R, Python, SmartPLS, and SPSS, alongside expertise in linear regression models, time series forecasting, and machine learning algorithms.
