
Dr. Arijit Ghosh
Assistant Professor
Dr. Arijit Ghosh is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Noida International University. He earned his Ph.D. in Geography from Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, West Bengal, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Remote Sensing and GIS from Jadavpur University.
His primary areas of interest include Geomorphology, Hydrology, Climatology, Geoinformatics, and Environmental Geography. Dr. Ghosh has published over 21 research papers and 5 book chapters in Scopus-indexed national and international journals. Notably, more than 7 of his papers have appeared in Science Citation Index (SCI) journals.
He was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2021–23 and has also served as a Research Associate on a major ICSSR-funded project. In 2023, he received two Outstanding Paper Awards at international seminars.
Dr. Ghosh actively reviews manuscripts for leading academic journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Nature Portfolio, Wiley, and Taylor & Francis. In addition to his research pursuits, he is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students in their academic development.
