Dr. Hena Dembla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the School of Liberal Arts, Noida International University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Amity University, Noida, with research focusing on counterfactual thinking from a social psychological perspective.

With extensive teaching, research, and academic administration experience across leading higher education institutions, Dr. Dembla has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Research Methodology, Statistics, Biopsychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychometrics, Counselling, Personality, and Psychological Assessment. She currently serves as a Ph.D. Guide, Research Coordinator, and Academic Coordinator, while actively contributing to institutional bodies such as the Board of Studies, IQAC, NAAC, and the Departmental Research Committee.

Her research interests include Positive Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methodology, and Mental Health. Dr. Dembla has published research papers in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, authored several book chapters with reputed national and international publishers, and has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences.

Dr. Dembla is also actively engaged in multidisciplinary research, project development, and academic innovation. She has recently been granted a patent, further strengthening her contributions to research, innovation, and knowledge creation. She remains committed to fostering research excellence, mentoring young scholars, and promoting evidence-based psychological practices through teaching, research, and community engagement.
