Graziano Transmissioni India Pvt Ltd (Dana Group)            

Conducted for the students of School of Business Management, Noida International University Students on 15th Sepetember-2022

An industrial visit to Graziano Transmission India Pvt. Ltd. (Dana Group) for BBA, BCOM, MBA students was organized by Dr. Ruchika Gupta- Dean, School of Business Management on 15/09/2022. The objective of the visit was to expose our students to the different processes and systems of one of the largest OEMs of automobile components in India. The students were accompanied by Ms. Namrata Tripathi and Mr. Rahul Kapoor faculty members at School of Business Management. A total of 44 students participated in the industrial visit.

Brief of Industrial Visit:

On arrival to the Plant, the students were greeted and ushered into the training and learning room of the company for a brief presentation on the company and its operations. Ms. Anshika Gupta, a member of the HR team of the company was there to help students understand the various business operations. A senior member of the Quality control team of the company was gracious enough to handle all technical questions of students. The students came to know that the company is operating six independent plants in India, all at strategic locations. In addition to this the company is also managing 18 more plants in collaboration.

The General Manager-HR, Admin & Legal Mr. Purushottam K. Jangir also addressed students and exhorted them to show utmost sincerity and dedication in whatever they take up in their lives. He further briefed the participating students on the business performance and other operations of HR.

Key Takeaways:

There were many takeaways for the participating students. They evinced a lot of interest in the different processes adopted by the company. A brief presentation to equip students about the fundamental information on the plant’s working was of great help to them. The students could witness all processes of automobile components manufacturing on the shop floor which augmented their knowledge base to a great deal.

Mr. Mukul Ruhatgi, another member of the HR team responsible for recruitments shared valuable information about job interviews and other aspects like skill sets required to succeed. The students posed many questions to him which he handled with aplomb. In the end students were treated to sumptuous lunch and the visit came to an end.
