REPORT ON “CAREER COUNSELING ON JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN INDIA AND ABROAD” , 28th NOVEMBER, 2022
Noida International University, School of Nursing conducted a Career counseling Program on 28th November. The effort was made for the courses of GNM 3rd year and ANM 2nd year students to make them aware about various opportunities and trends in the field of Nursing after the course completion in India and Abroad.
The program was carried out for effective 1hour duration. The Resource persons for the session was Prof. (Dr) Dinesh Kumar, Dean School of Nursing. He gave an elaborative introduction about the various opportunities and scope in the field of Nursing. He suggested varied ways and ideas on how to opt the career in abroad.
He further highlighted that Career guidance plays a very important role in the lives of all individuals, as it helps in setting future goals and chooses careers. Career guidance is much needed service to those who did not plan for their future at an early stage; more should be done to assist the younger generations in personal career development
At the end of the session the students cleared their doubts by asking various questions regarding the confusions, they usually face while deciding their career. The program ended with a powerful vote of thanks by Ms. Aakanksha, Asso. Professor, School of Nursing, NIU
All the students were highly motivated and enlightened about various opportunities after completing their Course. It was a very informative day for the students and faculty members who attended the session.
