DESCRIPTION.
Noida International University School of Nursing organized an awareness program under the theme “WE CARE FOR YOUR HEALTH, NOURISHES AND NURTURES CHILDREN Joint Action to Prevent Stunting and Obesity” in the adopted village of Khali Bhav Mozampur under the flagship of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 8th August 2022.
The program was successfully carried out in the Amichand Servoday Convent School, by GNM 3rd year and ANM 2nd year under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Dinesh Kumar, Dean/Principal, School of Nursing,NIU and Ms. Shikha Gupta (Assistant Prof. SON).
The objectives of the program was to emphasize the importance of good nutrition and proper diet to remain healthy and free from chronic malnutrition and also to create awareness among young students about the importance of hygiene through awareness of macronutrients. The students were also taught though pamphlets and posters.
