Introduction: The Book Release event ‘Tiny Droplet: Shades of Rainbow’ was scheduled on 30th April, 2024 (Tuesday) at 11:30am-12:30pm. The programme consisted a series of event, i.e.; Book Release and Discussion with Ms. Reeham Ahmed, the young author.
Objective: To generate an interest among the potential creative writers and share interest and experience among the literature enthusiasts.
Content:
Noida International University had organized a book release event encouraging a young and budding writer on 30th April, 2024 at the Board room of Honourable Chancellor Sir. The event was entitled as ‘Tiny Droplet: Shades of Rainbow’– Book Release and Discussion with the young author Ms. Reeham Ahmed on the book, Bobo and the Magic Cloak published by Bare Bones Publishing, Gurugram.
The young writer, named Ms. Reeham Ahmed is a student of Pathways World School, Gurugram. She has published in Lucky Jefferson, Footprints on the Moon and The Hooghly Review. She has written a book entitled as Bobo and the Magic Cloak published by Bare Bones Publishing. It is a picture book for the ages three and over. It talks about an impatient penguin who lived in a library spending most of her days reading books.
The book Bobo and the Magic Cloak was formally released by the Honourable Dignitaries of Noida International University, Honourable Chancellor Sir, Prof. (Dr) Vikram Singh and Honourable Vice Chancellor Ma’am, Prof. (Dr) Uma Bhardwaj. The Honourable dignitaries congratulated and showered blessings to the young author on her creative piece of work. It was followed by the discussion with the author, Ms. Reeham Ahmed. She shared about her imaginary character Bobo and the way she developed the story and the constant encouragement from her parents, Ms. Sahana Ahmed, a renowned fiction writer, poet and Founder of Bare Bones Publishing and her father, Captain Shakil Ahmed, Co-Founder of Bare Bones Publishing. Ms. Maryam Ahmad, Children’s Book Illustrator shared her views on the book and discussed on the process that helped her to illustrate the characters aptly.
Outcome:
The participants gained an insight into the art of creative writing.
Conclusion:
Th event highlighted the importance of creative environment in grooming of the aspiring creative writers and the literature enthusiasts.
