Etching Print Skill development Workshop and Studio opening

Noida International University, School of Fine Arts organized an Etching Print Skill development Workshop 2022 and Opening of the studio for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year BFA, MFA students and to assist them in making the smoothest transition possible, for the students for best academic opportunity and personal growth and skill development. The event started with welcome address by Dr. Umesh Chandra HOD in charge, the introduction of the printmaking by Neha Jangra, and the new printmaking studio, etching press machine inaugurated by the invited Guest of Honour Prof. (Dr.) P. Kumar, Honourable Pro Vice-Chancellor, NIU and the Special Honoured Guest Mr. Panchanan Samal (Secretary, Odisha State Lalit Kala Academi, Founder/ Principal Dhauli College of Art & Crafts, Utkal University of Culture, Odisha). And at the same time the department also has workshops on etching printing processes for skill development of the students for fine arts careers encouraging them how once students have finished with a degree in Fine arts, there are many opportunities for work available both locally and internationally. Prof. (Dr.) P. Kumar, Honourable Pro Vice-Chancellor, NIU had motivated the students and discussion about etching technique and career options in current times and Mr. Panchanan Samal (Secretary, Odisha State Lalit Kala Academi, Founder/ Principal Dhauli College of Art & Crafts, Utkal University of Culture, Odisha) guided the students how to develop their skill and self-confidence for the best profession in future. Ms. Neha Jangra demonstrated the etching printing process to the students.

This event was coordinated by Ms. Ritika Mittal and at last delivered vote of thanks by Dr. Umesh Chandra Nayak.
