To fulfil his persistent drive that every child must get the right to equal education and quality healthcare, Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Chairman, Noida International University decided to pursue a degree in medicine and surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth University. In 2013, he successfully completed his doctorate and took the reins of the university under his able and dynamic leadership. Since, then the university has grown into an ecosystem of education for all that amounts to international standards. He has visualized NIU to be recognized as a global educational institution disseminating the latest trends of knowledge through cutting-edge technologies and innovative methodologies, thereby producing excellent human resources and an intellectually stimulating environment for young scholars and academicians. His vision extends and reflects further in the vision of all 12 schools of NIU in addition to the Department of Sports. Pursuing his long-term vision and commitment of preserving and promoting a good health care system for everyone, Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh recently, flagged off his dream project, the Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS) that aims to provide the best healthcare facilities along with the latest equipment and state-of-the-art medical services for the community, not just at the local but global level. The NIIMS Medical College is currently running its first batch of MBBS class of 2020 for 150 students, which could not have been possible without the strategic directions of Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh. Pursuing his long-term vision and commitment of preserving and promoting the green movement, he also oversees the Responsible Green Developer’s Movement (RGDM) set-up through DAH Greentech. Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, belonging to a high-profile family of Uttar Pradesh is a thorough gentleman. He strongly advocates good health and practices a strict fitness regimen in his daily schedule, himself becoming a role model of “good health” for the young generation to follow. He always encourages his academic fraternity to delve into promising ventures for the betterment of children and youth of the nation. His contributions for the NIU are noteworthy and have earned several awards and accolades for the university.

Dr. Vikram Singh

Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Singh, hon’ble Chancellor, NIU and retired Director General of Police (DGP) Uttar Pradesh, needs no elaborate introduction as he is a well-renowned name in the nation for his tireless efforts for curbing crime and establishing law and order in the society. A person with high integrity, discipline, and character, Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Singh is a household name when it comes to voicing opinion on matters of public importance. He is regularly invited on media channels like Aaj Tak, ABP news, Times Now, Republic, Zee news, India TV, NDTV 24/7, India Today and others for voicing his expert views on socio-economic and political issues encountered by the nation. Further, he is popular for his TEDX talk on “How Youth can emerge as winners?” He is rated as a star trainer and speaker on issues related to security, man-management, crisis resolution team building, values and ethics. The Limca book of records mentions him as “Most Decorated Police officer” in the year 2014. Several gallantry awards namely, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry – 1986 , Bar to President’s Police Medal for Gallantry – 1987, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry – 1988, Bar to President’s Police Medal for Gallantry – 1989, President’s Police Medal for Long and Meritorious Service – 1990, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service – 1996, Kathin Seva Medal – 2001, Bar to Kathin Seva Medal – 2002 and other awards to his credit makes him a highly respectable professional in police and education circles alike. He has directly worked for the modernization and induction of state-of-the-art technology and universal best practices to make police effective and people friendly. He completed M. Sc. from Allahabad University in 1972 and Ph. D. in Ecology from Kumaon University in 1990. He has authored 3 books till now entitled, “Ecosystems of Central Himalayas”, “Human Rights and Police” and “Chambal Dacoits-BAAGHIS OR BANDITS”. He has been awarded by National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for his book entitled, “Human Rights and Police”. The university looks up to Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Singh for his experience and scholarly contributions in the strategic decisions and day-to-day working of the university. He is an admirable and adorable figure amongst the faculty members and students both and is always available as a guiding light for all concerned. He is a pool of knowledge, an excellent orator, and an inspiration for the people belonging to all the generations, especially the youth.

Dr. Mukesh Parashar, Registrar of the university, has done his Ph.D. in Management, MBA in HR.Dr. Parashar has a total of 35+ years of experience in the industry and academia, where he worked for 16+ years with various manufacturing and service sector’s industries in Quality Control, Purchase, and Industrial Marketing departments. He was a licensed Surveyor and loss assessor for IRDA and has assessed 3000 + claims in MOTOR and Engineering verticals, claims of which were filed with General Insurance companies like National, United, Oriental Insurance, and New India Assurance Limited, etc. He was an authorized valuer for many Nationalized and Private Banks. He has been working with Academia for the last 17 + years and has headed Training and Placement, Admission department, Branding, Compliances and Academic Administration departments. He has worked with many internationally renowned corporations and Universities like Punj Lloyds, Gajara Bevel Gears Ltd, Shanthi Gears Ltd, D Y Patil International University, Symbiosis University, ITM Vocational University, Vaishnav Vidya Peeth University, and many more. He has published several International and national papers in international journals and attended conferences. He has published 1 book in management.

Dr. Tanveer Ahmad Wani

Dr. T. A. Wani has merited a degree in Bachelor of Science from the University of Kashmir, followed by a Masters in Physics from Barkatullah University. He was awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics by Barkatullah University in February, 2012. Since then, he has been engaged in teaching and tutoring both lower-level and upper-level physics courses. In addition, he has experience in academic administration, planning, guiding, & monitoring Quality Dr. T. A. Wani has merited a degree in Bachelor of Science from the University of Kashmir, followed by a Masters in Physics from Barkatullah University. He was awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics by Barkatullah University in February, 2012. Since then, he has been engaged in teaching and tutoring both lower-level and upper-level physics courses. In addition, he has experience in academic administration, planning, guiding, & monitoring Quality assurance and accreditation. He is involved in the study of the behaviour of materials at high pressure and temperature. These include superhard materials, high-temperature superconductors, high energy density materials, and nano- materials. Dr. Wani has to his credit 50+ research articles in various journals of national and international repute. He has attended & presented his work at more than 40+ Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops. He has also co-authored three subject books, entitled “Basic Environmental Physics”, “Materials for Future”, and “A Textbook of Engineering Physics Laboratory,” for undergraduate & postgraduate courses. Dr. Wani has been a recipient of few honours/awards and recognitions as well for his work. The prominent among them was the Fellowship for Training of Young Scientists in 2013, the Young Scientist Award in 2010, the Certificate of Work by Rashtriya Seva Yojana (in accordance by UNICEF) in 2010, and a couple more.

Prof. (Dr.) Amit Gaurav

Prof. (Dr.) Amit Gaurav had joined Noida International University as Controller of Examination in January 2023. He has more than 18 years of experience in administration & academics, and his educational qualifications include B.E., M.B.A., M.Tech., & Ph.D. (CS). Prior to joining Noida International University, he had worked with Amity University, Noida and Galgotias Educational Institutions, Greater Noida. His major responsibilities at Examination Cell include the pre-conduct, conduct, and post-conduct examination activities of around 100 Programs running at the University in the fields of Medicine, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Health & Allied Sciences, Nursing, Management, Law, Journalism & Mass Communication, Education, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, Design, & Pharmacy. The other responsibilities include the custody of records pertaining to the conduct of examinations, evaluations, examination related activities of Ph.D.s, issuance of Transcripts, verification of student credentials, degree printing & dispatch, issue of a Statement of Grade, Grievances redressal of students, etc.
