School of Pharmacy, Noida International University organized National Pharmacy Education Day on 06/03/2024 for B. Pharm and D. Pharm in the Campus.
The objective of National Pharmacy Education Day in India serves as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of pharmacists in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, advancing healthcare, and promoting public health awareness.
National Pharmacy education day not only celebrate the advancements and contribution of pharmacy education but also plays tribute to the pioneers who have shaped the field Among these luminaries is M.L. Schroff, widely regarded as the “Father of Pharmacy.”
In this regard, various activities like Pharma Rangoli, Nukkad Natak, Quiz Competition and Model/ Poster Presentation by the students of School of Pharmacy was conducted under supervision of Dr. Sameer Rastogi (Dean SOP), Dr Neha Rana, Mr Abhishek Sharma, Ms Nidhi, Ms Priti Tiwari, Raju Singh, Mr Hemant and along with Ms Anjali
National Pharmacy education Day is an annual observance dedicated to recognizing the importance of pharmacy education in the healthcare system. It aims to celebrate the contributions of pharmacists, educators and students in advancing pharmaceutical knowledge and improving patient care.
- Raise awareness about the significance of pharmacy education is promoting medication safety and efficacy.
- Highlight the role of Pharmacists as integral member of the healthcare team.
- Promote ongoing professional development and lifelong learning among pharmacy professionals.
- Encourage collaboration between academic institutions, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical organizations to enhance pharmacy education.
