REPORT ON “CAREER COUNSELING” RAINBOW HOSPITAL, 30TH NOVEMBER, 2022

Noida International University, School of Nursing, organized a one day Career counseling session in association with the reputed Rainbow hospital on 30th November, 2022.

The counseling session was planned to make the students understand the different career opportunities, procedure to appear those careers, different competitive exams and also planned to make them to understand the importance of having goal and passion and hard work to achieve the desired goal.

The Resource persons for the session were Ms. Suman Yadav (HR, Rainbow Hospital, New Delhi), Ms. Sheeja (Nursing Superintendent, Rainbow Hospital, New Delhi ) and Ms. Neetu (Nursing Educator, Rainbow Hospital, New Delhi ) and  gave a brief introduction about the various opportunities and scope in the field of Nursing. He suggested varied ways that how to opt the career in one’s life depending on the capabilities and potential. He also motivated the students to focus on the chosen career and what are the efforts to be put in to make that dream true. Further, he explained by giving examples of various successful people and their achievements in spite of having lack of facilities and financial support.

All the students were highly motivated and they cleared their doubts during the session by asking various related questions regarding their confusions, they usually face while deciding their career.

Prof. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dean SON, Noida International university also apprised the students with various career options in the field of Nursing. He motivated the students to be confident and communicative in life besides, hard work, time management and focus on the option which is an important aspect to be taken care of.  All the students were highly motivated and enlightened about the various opportunities after completing their Course. It was a very informative day for the students. All the nursing department faculty members were also present in the session.
